Katy is a secondary school located in Katy, Texas and serves grades 9 through 12. It is a part of the Katy Independent School District.

Katy High School opened in 1898 to serve the children of the local rice farmers, the first graduating class was in 1900.

The Katy Tigers football team has been particularly successful in recent years, winning championships in 1959, 1997, 2000, 2003 and 2007. Under coach Mike Johnston the Tigers beat powerhouse Southlake Carroll HS 16-15 in the 2003 5A Division II state final, handing Southlake Carroll its only loss in two years. Coach Gary Joseph, former Katy defensive coordinator, took over head coaching duties from Johnston, who left for Houston Christian High School after the 2003 season.
